Chipotle Mexican Grill keeps making headlines of late for its fast-growing stock. In his recent piece explaining how Chipotle stock is booming while McDonald’s is on the decline, Jim Cramer of The Street explains that their business model is appealing to people who are becoming more and more disillusioned about typical fast food.
The natural and organic craze isn't a craze any more. In fact, it isn't even a phase. It's an actual real-life mindset, and it's no longer just in the United States. Hence why the rest of the world's numbers, after saving McDonald's for ages, can no longer do it.”
Cramer goes on to discuss how Chipotle’s two propaganda videos, “The Scarecrow” and “Farmed and Dangerous” (worth checking out, if you haven’t already) have worked to boost Chipotle’s sales while simultaneously hurting McDonald’s. The “fast-casual” company is certainly here to stay. And play! If you didn’t know it already, the folks at Moonbot Studio also turned The Scarecrow into a game (available at the Apple App Store). Check out the behind-the-scenes video of the making of the game and learn a little more about the collaboration and vision of Moonbot and the folks at Chipotle here:
