Keto BBQ Sauce Recipe

This homemade keto BBQ sauce is sweet, smoky, and full of flavor without the sugar. Perfect for low-carb meals like chicken, ribs, and burgers. Easy to make and better than store-bought.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (check for no sugar)

  • 1.5 tbsp monk fruit or erythritol

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • A few drops liquid smoke (optional but recommended)

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a small saucepan.

  • Stir well and bring to a light boil over medium heat.

  • Lower the heat and let it simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring now and then.

  • Taste and adjust for sweetness, spice, or tang.

  • Let cool, then store in a jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Add a pinch of cayenne for heat.

  • Use golden monk fruit for a deeper flavor.

  • For a sweeter taste, add 1 tsp of blackstrap molasses (optional, adds very few carbs).

  • Sauce thickens more as it cools.
