  • 1015 fresh mint leaves
  • 23 large lemons, juiced (about 1/2 cup juice)
  • 45 cups water (adjust to taste)
  • 23 tbsp keto-friendly sweetener (like stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit), or to taste
  • Ice cubes (for serving)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mash the blackberries and mint leaves together until the berries break down, and the mint is fragrant.
  • Strain the mashed mixture through a sieve to remove seeds if you prefer a smoother drink.
  • In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, water, and sweetener. Stir until the sweetener dissolves.
  • Add the strained blackberry-mint mixture to the pitcher and stir well.
  • Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness or lemon juice as needed.
  • Chill for at least 30 minutes, then serve over ice. Garnish with extra mint, lemon slices, or blackberries if desired.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace half of the water with sparkling water.
  • Adjust the sweetener and lemon juice to your preferred level of sweetness and tartness.
  • Fresh ingredients will give the best flavor, but frozen blackberries can be used in a pinch.
