Keto Chocolate-Covered Bacon Recipe:

A sweet and salty snack perfect for the keto diet! Crispy, thick-cut bacon dipped in smooth, sugar-free chocolate makes a quick, easy, low-carb treat that satisfies cravings without breaking ketosis. Great for parties, brunches, or late-night snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 810 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup sugar-free dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Sea salt flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lay out the bacon slices flat on the sheet without overlapping. Bake for 15–20 minutes until crispy.
  3. Drain and cool the bacon on a plate lined with paper towels. Let it cool completely.
  4. Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil using a microwave (in 30-second intervals) or a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  5. Dip each bacon slice into the melted chocolate, coating half or the whole slice, as you prefer.
  6. Place dipped bacon on a parchment-lined tray and sprinkle sea salt on top (optional).
  7. Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until the chocolate is fully set.
  8. Serve and enjoy! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Notes

  • Use thick-cut bacon for the best crunch.
  • Try adding crushed nuts or a dash of cayenne pepper for extra flavor.
  • Make sure the bacon is completely cool before dipping to help the chocolate stick better.
