A creamy, low-carb Coconut Mate Latte that’s keto-friendly, dairy-free, and super easy to make. Great for mornings or a mid-day energy boost without the sugar crash. A warm hug in a mug made from coconut milk and yerba mate.
1 cup brewed yerba mate (loose leaf or 1–2 tea bags)
½ cup full-fat coconut milk (unsweetened)
½ cup water (or more coconut milk for extra creaminess)
1 tbsp MCT oil or coconut oil (optional for more fat)
1 tsp vanilla extract
Dash of cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
Keto sweetener to taste (stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol)
Brew the yerba mate using hot water, letting it steep 5–7 minutes.
Warm the coconut milk and water in a saucepan on low heat—don’t boil.
Combine brewed mate, warmed milk, oil, vanilla, spice, and sweetener in a blender.
Blend for 20–30 seconds until frothy.
Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.
For a stronger taste, double the tea bags or steep longer.
Skip the water if you want it extra thick and creamy.
Add ice and blend for a cold version.
Great as a light breakfast or paired with keto snacks.
