Keto Espresso Tonic

This Keto Espresso Tonic is a bold, bubbly, and refreshing coffee drink with zero sugar. Made with espresso, ice, and sugar-free tonic water, it’s the perfect low-carb alternative to iced coffee. Quick, easy, and ideal for hot days or an afternoon energy boost!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
  • 46 oz sugar-free tonic water
  • Ice cubes (fill the glass)
  • Lemon or lime wedge (optional)
  • A few drops of liquid stevia or monk fruit sweetener (optional)

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour the sugar-free tonic water over the ice, filling about ¾ of the glass.
  3. Brew a double shot of espresso (or make strong coffee). Let it cool for about a minute.
  4. Slowly pour the espresso over the back of a spoon so it sits on top of the tonic water.
  5. Garnish with a lemon or lime wedge if desired. Stir gently before drinking.

Notes

  • If you don’t have espresso, use a Moka pot or French press to make strong coffee.
  • A dark roast works best for a richer flavor.
  • For less bitterness, mix half tonic water with half sparkling water.
  • Add a drop of vanilla extract for extra depth.
  • Chill your espresso slightly before pouring to keep the ice from melting too fast.
