  • 2 ribeye steaks (or preferred cut like sirloin or New York strip)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Steak: Take the steaks out of the fridge and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the Steak: Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and wait until shimmering. Place the steaks in the pan, cook for 3-4 minutes per side for a golden-brown crust.
