Ingredients

Scale

For the Wings:

  • 2 lbs (about 20) chicken wings, split into flats and drumettes
  • 1 tbsp baking powder (NOT baking soda)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce:

  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Wings – Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  2. Season – In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
  3. Bake – Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a wire rack on a baking sheet and arrange wings in a single layer. Bake for 45-50 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden brown.
  4. Make the Sauce – While wings bake, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in parmesan cheese, parsley, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Coat the Wings – Remove wings from the oven and toss immediately in the garlic parmesan sauce. Serve hot and enjoy!
