  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon keto sweetener (like monk fruit or erythritol, adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon MCT oil or 1 scoop collagen powder

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine almond or coconut milk and water. Heat over medium-low until warm, but do not boil.
  • Whisk in turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper until fully combined.
  • Stir in keto sweetener and vanilla extract. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Optional: Add MCT oil or collagen powder for extra nutrition. Whisk well.
  • Use a frother or blender to make the latte frothy.
  • Pour into a mug, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon, and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Store leftover golden milk in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat and whisk before serving.
  • Fresh turmeric root can be used instead of powder (grate about 1-inch for every ½ teaspoon of powder).
