Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers (or 45 hibiscus tea bags)

  • 12 tablespoons keto-friendly sweetener (such as Stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol)
  • Juice of 1 lime (optional, for added tang)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
  • Ice cubes, to serve

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the hibiscus flowers or tea bags.
  • Steep for 10-15 minutes, or until the tea turns a deep pink-red color.
  • Strain out the hibiscus flowers or remove tea bags, and let the tea cool slightly.
  • Stir in the keto-friendly sweetener and lime juice (if using) until fully dissolved.
  • Chill the tea in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or pour it directly over a glass filled with ice if serving immediately.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves and enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less sweetener.
  • For a fizzy option, add sparkling water before serving.
  • Store leftover tea in the fridge for up to 5 days.
