Sweet and salty maple bacon made keto-friendly with low-carb ingredients. Perfect for snacks, desayuno keto, postre keto, or as part of your keto diet menu. Crispy, sticky, addictive and super easy to make.
1 pound thick-cut bacon
1/3 cup keto maple syrup (Lakanto or ChocZero)
1/4 cup almond flour
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp brown sugar substitute (like Swerve)
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
Crushed pecans (optional)
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Lay bacon slices flat with no overlapping.
Mix maple syrup, almond flour, butter, sugar substitute, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
Spread mixture evenly over bacon slices.
Sprinkle crushed pecans if using.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until bacon is golden and edges crisp.
Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Store in fridge or freezer in an airtight container.
Let the bacon cool fully so it sets and gets that crispy crack. Don’t microwave leftovers. Use air fryer or oven to reheat for the best texture.
