  • 12 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground ginger or 1 small piece of fresh ginger, sliced
  • 12 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 12 rooibos or hibiscus tea bags
  • 1/2 lemon or orange peel (just the peel)
  • 12 tsp liquid keto sweetener (like monk fruit, erythritol, or stevia)
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to medium heat. Add cinnamon sticks, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, and ginger. Whisk to combine.
  2. Once heated, add the rooibos or hibiscus tea bags and lemon or orange peel. Let steep for 5–10 minutes to infuse flavor.
  3. Add apple cider vinegar and keto-friendly sweetener, adjusting to taste.
  4. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, strain into a mug, and discard the solids.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
