Refreshing Keto Strawberry Chia Fresca Recipe

A light and refreshing keto drink made with fresh strawberries, chia seeds, lime, and your favorite low-carb sweetener. Perfect for staying cool while sticking to your diet goals!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 4 cups water (plain or sparkling)
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • Low-carb sweetener to taste (stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit)
  • Optional: mint leaves, vanilla extract, ice

Instructions

  • Wash and hull the strawberries. Slice them into smaller pieces.
  • Blend strawberries, lime juice, sweetener, and 1 cup of water until smooth.
  • (Optional) Strain the mixture to remove strawberry seeds.
  • Pour the mixture into a large pitcher. Add the remaining water and stir in the chia seeds.
  • Let the mixture sit for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the chia seeds to absorb water and swell.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves or a slice of strawberry, if desired.

Notes

  • For a bubbly version, use sparkling water.
  • Adjust the sweetener and lime juice to suit your taste.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days and stir before serving.
