  • 10 medium jalapeños, sliced in half and deseeded
  • 10 slices of thin-cut bacon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Toothpicks (to hold bacon in place)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the jalapeños by slicing them in half lengthwise and removing seeds.
  • Make the filling by mixing cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Stuff each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, filling just enough to cover the inside.
  • Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed.
  • Place on the baking sheet, seam side down, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy.
  • Optional: Broil for an extra 2-3 minutes for more crispiness.
  • Let them cool for a few minutes, remove toothpicks, and serve warm.

  • Use thin-cut bacon for the best crispiness.
  • Adjust spice level by leaving some jalapeño seeds in.
  • For extra crunch, air fry at 375°F for 12-15 minutes.
