Keto Churro Bites Recipe

These keto churro bites are a low-carb twist on a classic sweet snack. Made without sugar, they’re soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Perfect for anyone on the keto diet looking for easy snacks for after school, healthy snacks at night, or quick desserts at home. Kid-friendly, air fryer-ready, and full of cinnamon flavor.

Dough:

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 1 tbsp coconut flour

  • 1/4 cup erythritol (or other keto-friendly sweetener)

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Topping:

  • 2 tbsp erythritol

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together almond flour, coconut flour, erythritol, baking powder, and cinnamon.

  3. Add in the egg, melted butter, almond milk, and vanilla. Mix until smooth and thick.

  4. Roll into small bite-sized balls using your hands or a cookie scoop.

  5. Place them in the air fryer basket with some space between each bite.

  6. Cook for 7–9 minutes or until golden.

  7. While they cook, mix cinnamon and erythritol in a bowl. Melt butter in another bowl.

  8. Once churro bites are done, brush each with melted butter and roll in the cinnamon mix.

  9. Let cool for 2–3 minutes and serve warm.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.

  • Reheat in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes to crisp back up.

  • Can be baked in the oven at 375°F for 10–12 minutes.

  • Add a small square of sugar-free chocolate inside each bite for a surprise center.
