  • 1 cup water
  • 23 tablespoons erythritol or monk fruit sweetener (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon or lime
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Fresh cranberries and mint for garnish
  • Optional: 2 ounces vodka or gin (if making a cocktail)

Instructions

  1. Make the Cranberry Syrup:
    • Combine cranberries, water, and sweetener in a small saucepan.
    • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    • Let simmer for 5-7 minutes until cranberries burst and mixture thickens slightly.
    • Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve and let it cool.
  2. Assemble the Spritzer:
    • Fill a glass with ice cubes.
    • Add 2-3 tablespoons of the cranberry syrup (adjust to taste).
    • Squeeze in the lemon or lime juice.
    • Pour sparkling water or club soda over the top and stir gently.
  3. Garnish and Serve:
    • Add fresh cranberries and mint leaves for garnish.
    • Serve immediately and enjoy the fizz!

  • The cranberry syrup can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
