  • 24 lobster tails, fresh or thawed
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (or ghee)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Pinch of smoked paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Lobster Tails
    • Using kitchen scissors, cut through the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise.
    • Gently pull the meat up and out of the shell, leaving the end attached (butterfly it).
    • Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
    • In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
    • Add parsley, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Simmer for 1 minute, then taste and adjust seasoning.
  3. Brush and Bake
    • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment or foil.
    • Brush each lobster tail generously with garlic butter sauce.
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the meat is opaque and slightly firm. For a golden finish, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end.
  4. Serve and Enjoy
    • Brush lobster with any remaining garlic butter and garnish with extra parsley if desired. Serve hot!
