Soft and chewy keto psyllium husk bread that’s perfect for sandwiches, toast, or as a snack. Made with almond flour and psyllium husk, this low-carb bread is gluten-free, fiber-rich, and super easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 5 tbsp psyllium husk powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup boiling water

Optional:

  • 1 tsp garlic powder or herbs
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet or grease a loaf pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, psyllium husk powder, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add eggs and apple cider vinegar to the dry ingredients. Stir until combined into a sticky dough.
  • Slowly pour in the boiling water while stirring. The dough will become fluffy and firm.
  • Shape the dough into a loaf or rolls and place on the prepared baking sheet or in the loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50–60 minutes for a loaf or 30–35 minutes for rolls, until golden brown and firm on top.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing.

Notes

  • Use light-colored psyllium husk powder to avoid purple bread.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature, or in the fridge for a week.
  • Freeze sliced bread for easy reheating.
