Keto Sausage Balls Recipe

These keto sausage balls are a cheesy, low-carb snack or breakfast option that’s quick and easy to make. Perfect for the keto diet, they’re packed with protein and full of flavor. Ideal for meal prep, snacks, or party appetizers!

  • 1 lb ground sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sausage, cheddar cheese, almond flour, cream cheese, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly with your hands.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls, about 1-2 tablespoons each. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. Let the sausage balls cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • If the mixture feels too sticky, add a little more almond flour.
  • Use sharp cheddar for the best flavor, or try mozzarella for a milder taste.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven before serving.
