Crispy bacon dipped in rich dark chocolate and topped with maple pecans. This keto-friendly, low-carb treat is salty, sweet, crunchy, and perfect for Valentine’s Day or anytime you need a delicious snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 strips of thick-cut bacon
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup
  • 1 cup keto-friendly dark chocolate chips (like Lily’s or ChocZero)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Flaky sea salt (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Cook the Bacon

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place bacon on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.
  • Let bacon cool on a paper towel to remove excess grease.

2. Toast the Maple Pecans

  • Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
  • Stir in pecans and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add sugar-free maple syrup, stir, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.

3. Melt the Chocolate

  • Add chocolate chips and coconut oil to a bowl.
  • Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

4. Assemble the Bacon

  • Dip each bacon strip halfway into melted chocolate.
  • Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  • Sprinkle maple pecans over the chocolate.
  • Add a pinch of flaky sea salt if desired.

5. Let It Set

  • Refrigerate for 15 minutes until chocolate hardens.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Can freeze for longer storage—just thaw before eating.
  • Works great with almonds or walnuts instead of pecans.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle cayenne on top for a spicy kick.
