Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground pork (or turkey for a leaner option)
  • ½ cup finely diced apple (Granny Smith or another firm apple)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp ground sage (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Mix the Ingredients

    • In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, diced apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and sage.
    • Add the egg and coconut flour, then mix well until evenly combined.
  2. Shape the Patties

    • Form the mixture into small patties (about 2 tbsp each). You should get 8-10 patties.
  3. Cook the Patties

    • Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat.
    • Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and fully cooked through.
  4. Serve & Enjoy

    • Serve hot with eggs, avocado, or your favorite keto-friendly sides.

Notes

  • Use Granny Smith apples for the best balance of sweetness and tartness.
  • Let the patties rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain juiciness.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat in the microwave, skillet, or oven at 350°F for 10 minutes.
