Workout Principles of Kendall Jenner

Kendall doesn’t like quick fad workouts – she much rather likes keeping things simple. “Being active and keeping busy,” she says, has been ingrained into her.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s running around with her friends or her quick workouts.

That’s her main principle – to be active and busy.

For Fashion Week, Kendall has to ensure that she looks at her absolute best. She says, “My beauty secrets for fashion week is” –

  • “Just getting a good amount of sleep. I feel like I at least need about seven hours, eight hours of sleep to function.”
  • “I usually start my day off with a cup of detox tea. I have like 12 cups a day.”
  • “Don’t let other people bring you down and ignore the haters.”
  • “I boost my energy through workouts and eating healthy.”

Even though she does running and this activity helps to keep her abs in shape, the model says she also does “anything core related” to keep her stomach washboard flat.

Kendall Jenner’s Training Methods

Beverly Hills personal trainer Gunnar Peterson advises Kendall Jenner. He has a health and fitness platform called Centr.

This app has helped to sculpt many a beautiful body.

Kendall enjoys working out first thing in the morning, hitting the gym by 7.00 am. Her workouts will be about an hour long.

She works out with her personal trainer, Gunnar.

She will do ab workouts and full-body workouts, as well as some weights. Most of what she does is a combo of strength, high–intensity workouts, and movements.

She also does kickboxing and resistance training so she stays slim and toned. And of course, she loves doing hot yoga sessions.

Kendall Jenner’s Workout Routine

Every week, Kendall Jenner will focus on strength training to tone her body.

She also does cardio so that she has less chance of accumulating fat all over her body.

Here’s an example of what her weekly routine looks like:

Monday

  • She has a 45-minute run
  • 15-minutes of stretching

Tuesday

  • 30-minutes of core pilates
  • 8-minutes for buns
  • 10-minutes of a combination of the forearm and straight arm planks

Wednesday

  • She does a 45-minute run
  • 15-minutes of stretching

Thursday

  • 30-minutes swim
  • 8-minutes of abs
  • 10-minutes variety of lunges with dumbbells

Friday

  • 30-minutes of core pilates
  • 8-minute for buns
  • 10-minutes tossing the medicine ball to work abs, back, and arms

Saturday

  • She does a 45-minute run
  • 15-minutes of stretching

Sunday

  • Rest day
  • Optional: 30-minutes of swimming

You can imagine that being a top model in the world, Kendall will need to stick to a healthy diet.

This is what Kendall will generally eat in a day:

Breakfast

She often skips breakfast and just goes to the gym.

And when she is even too busy to have lunch at around noon, she will eat a filling breakfast such as avocado and eggs on toast or fruit with Greek yogurt.

Lunch

She will have chicken, rice, and veggies.

This meal provides her with plenty of protein, carbohydrates, fat, and vitamins.

Snacks

She enjoys snacks like veggies and hummus.

If Kendall feels like a treat, she loves frozen yogurt. She will treat herself to this treat about twice a week.

Dinner

Kendall tries to eat dinner by about 6.00 pm each day and she also eats out with friends.

With all her friends around, she says her spirits are lifted! When she goes out to eat, she will choose things like Margarita pizza, or sushi, or vegan spaghetti.

To sustain herself during these shows she likes to keep snacks such as Guacamole and chips, veggies and hummus, Twix bars, or Almond butter packs.

And she ensures she gets plenty of sleep.

When the show is over she will go with friends to Ferdi Burger Parisian bistro for pasta, drinks, and cheeseburgers!

Even models can’t just eat 100% healthily all the time! Kendall also drinks detox teas.

But the advice to others is that often these teas can cause digestive problems. If you want to lose weight, rather exercise consistently and eat correctly.

That’s what Kendall told Jenner told E! News. “I have like 12 cups a day.”
