Christina Aguilera is an American singer and songwriter, a television personality, and also an actress.
She has plenty of accolades behind her too; five Grammy awards and a Latin Grammy Award.

We want to tell you about her amazing weight loss journey and how this famous singer/actress achieved it – so we will start with her personal life and what led her up to her making the life decisions she did:
She took all of 2009 off to do training and to lose weight for the role that was being shot at this time.
This meant that by the time 2010 swung around, Christina she was in peak form and condition and looked stunning.
During her weight loss, she also used some supplements to help her.

5) Dedicate yourself
Christina worked out with Sorge until she was eight months pregnant.
That’s what helped her snap back so quickly.
He says the workouts don’t have to be that long – just consistent.
Think one hour a week, 3-5 times a week.
If you are pregnant, it is advised you talk to your doctor about the right kind of exercise for you.
In 2011, Christina Aguilera joined ‘The Voice’
She always said The Voice wasn’t really the right fit for her, and yet she still took it on.
“I originally took the seat on ‘The Voice’ because it kept me in a little bit of a more grounded position for my children,” she said.
But after a while, she said, “I have to evolve!”
Now that she had children, she was finding the prospect of touring quite scary; she didn’t want her children to suffer from instability while she was on tour.
But anyway, she went on to appear on The Voice for six seasons, coaching contestants from Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Season 5, Season 8, and Season 10.

She decided to take charge of her physical and mental health.
Being a celebrity, people’s tongues are wagging all the time, and everyone thought that she had gotten herself some liposuction.
But Christina slammed these rumors.
She didn’t get lipo. What she did do was work hard at changing her eating habits and the results have been evident.

Being so stressed after taking a break from The Voice with all the things she had going on in her life, wasn’t helping her weight loss .
But nor was it helping her health either.
Christina realized at that time she needed to take some time off to focus on her body, soul, and mind.
And that’s what she did; she got rid of the stress.
During this time, she dropped a lot of her celebrity engagements and she started going to yoga.
This gave her a sense of calm.
With yoga, she was taught how to be mindful and aware of all the choices she made.
She used her new-found mindfulness to focus, and she had a weight loss plan in place too.
In 2013, she lost 40 pounds with the help of her daily yoga and a low-calorie diet
Christina began to see how stress could take its toll on the body; she saw that it would greatly benefit her to take time off from The Voice to go and relax, distress, and also lose the weight she wanted to.
She has been in showbiz since she was eight years old, so she knows and loves the limelight.
And she didn’t want any weight gain or anything, in fact, keeping her from this.
So she started using a weight loss meal service in 2013
During this year Christina Aguilera decided to help her weight loss ideals by using a meal service company.
This helped her to become more aware of making better dietary choices.
This was an important step towards her weight loss goals.
Another important goal that she made regarding her weight loss was to have only healthy food in her house.

For Christiana Aguilera, each meal for her consisted of a low carb diet, and this included dinners such as chicken and veggies.
She used to order the 1,600 calorie-per-day option – that’s according to her trainer.
Christina would just consume foods based on their color. Let’s take a look at her diet plan.
1) White Day
It would include all white foods such as bananas, egg whites, coconut, cauliflower, whitefish, onion, and garlic, and dairy products.
2) Red Day
Red Day would include eating foods such as raspberries, cherries, strawberries, cranberries, red grapes, red currants, tomatoes, kidney beans, lean red meat, beetroot, red bell peppers, and cayenne pepper.
3) Green Day
Would include eating all foods that were green such as kiwis, cucumber, lettuce, spinach, sorrel, kale, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts.
4) Orange Day
Would include eating foods such as carrots, pumpkins, mangos, papaya, apricots, squash, peaches, persimmon, and Redfish.
5) Purple Day
Purple Day would include foods such as blackberries, mulberries, purple cauliflowers, dark grapes, eggplant, purple cabbage, and plums.
6) Yellow Day
Yellow Day would include eating foods such as yellow zucchini, corn, yellow bell peppers, mature cheese, egg yolk, and honey.
Christina told the US Weekly that she was not depriving herself at all, that she just limits the bad foods that she loves so much.
Christina also followed these good weight-loss tips:
No sugar and sweets.
3 meals per day and 2 snacks.
Sticking diligently to the diet plan.
Alcohol was a no-no as was unhealthy snacking.
She would drink at least 2 liters of water per day.
She took these in the morning because they helped to increase her energy levels and also burn fat.
Then in the evening, she would take a probiotic which was to help her body get rid of all the toxins and to increase her weight loss.
Apparently, the seeds have a 30% fat content.
There have been several claims made that Garcinia Cambogia extract helps with diabetes, ulcers, cancer, and constipation.
But its biggest claim to fame is that it helps to speed up weight loss, boost endurance and exercise levels, and reduce appetite.
It makes sense, as the fruit contains a compound called hydroxycitric acid (HCA) that is known to inhibit an enzyme that helps the body to store fat.
It is thought that by taking Garcinia Cambogia, that your fat is burned as calories.

By this time, she hadalready lost 40 pounds and returned to The Voice in 2013
She gushed to everybody at The Voice how yoga had been ideal in helping to find herself in the time she had been away.
She was so impressed that she even brought her yoga trainer with her onto the show.
All the stars who shared the limelight with Christina got to see some of her yoga routines.
With her new shape, she obviously was the talk of the town and she also said that with yoga , once she had regained her inner focus, she found it much easier to not cheat on her diet.

Christina continued working out throughout her pregnancy.
But yoga was the only thing she did.
Most yoga postures can be practiced while you are pregnant, and Christina enjoyed this during her pregnancy.
She also hired a host of nutritionists as well as a daily yoga instructor to ensure that her diet and weight loss was always in check.
This time around with her after-pregnancy extra weight, she worked harder and smarter, carrying on with her yoga while she was pregnant.
That’s because most yoga moves can be done while you are pregnant.
Christina enjoyed the yoga throughout her pregnancy.
For the 40 pounds that she had gained in her pregnancy that she wanted to lose, she made use of an 1800 calorie per day diet, still ensuring that it was high-protein, low-carb, and mostly consisting of chicken and veggies.
She wanted to have her pre-pregnancy body back by her birthday.
She did just that.
She says most of the weight loss came from all the working-out she did and sticking to her 1,800 calorie diet.
Of course, at the time, she was still breastfeeding her daughter, so that helped as well, to burn up at least 500 calories per day.
In an interview with Marie Claire, Christina said:
“I don’t weigh myself. What looks good on one person might not look good on another body type.
I happen to be very confident in my own skin. It takes time to get to that place.
But, it’s all about embracing yourself and your body type.”

Her break from The Voice taught her how to be more mindful, disciplined, and focused.
Christina, with the help of proper diets, supplements, and yoga, lost a whopping 50 pounds, but what was also important was that she got her confidence back and reclaimed her pop icon status.
